Ruckus Wi-Fi equipment meets all the technical requirements of the WiFi4EU program

After 224 Croatian cities and municipalities won a WiFi4EU voucher providing funds for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for setting up Wi-Fi networks in public places, cities and municipalities faced the next challenge - how to choose the right Wi-Fi equipment.
When choosing Wi-Fi equipment, it is necessary to meet all the technical requirements for Wi-Fi access points prescribed by the WiFi4EU program in order to provide network users with a high-quality user experience.

Top Ruckus Wi-Fi equipment meets all prescribed technical requirements. Ruckus Wi-Fi access points support the simultaneous use of both frequency bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), support MIMO 2 × 2 technology, support IEEE 802.1x, IEEE 802.11r, IEEE 802.11ki and 802.11v standards, and comply with IEEE 802.11ac Wave I standard. Ruckus Wi-Fi equipment can support at least 50 end users simultaneously without compromising service quality and provides a dedicated and centralized single point to manage all access points of each WiFi4EU network. The support period is longer than five years for all Ruckus Wi-Fi products, and the average time between failures (MTBF) is five years.

The advantage of the top Ruckus WI-Fi equipment is also the compliance with the Hotspot 2.0 option (the "Passpoint" certification program of the Wi-Fi Alliance). Hotspot 2.0 allows users to more easily and securely connect to a public Wi-Fi network, and is crucial for the second phase of the program to enable roaming functionality among various local WiFi4EU networks.
